RALEIGH, NC—SEPT. 20, 2017 — Pendo.io, creator of the leading web-based Product Experience Platform, today announced that it has been named a “Best Place to Work” by Triangle Business Journal. The 2017 list features the 50 top Triangle workplaces as judged by their employees through an independently conducted opinion survey.

“We’re thrilled to be recognized as one of the best places to work in the Research Triangle,” said Todd Olson, co-founder and CEO of Pendo. “We’ve made culture a deliberate focus of our growth strategy, knowing that the best talent will actively seek out and select a fun, challenging, and progressive workplace.”

Pendo also announced the appointment of two new executives:

Jake Sorofman, Chief Marketing Officer

Veteran software CMO and Gartner Analyst Jake Sorofman joins Pendo as chief marketing officer. Previously, he was a VP and chief of research at Gartner, Inc., the world’s largest research and advisory firm, where he advised CMOs and other marketing leadership roles. Prior to Gartner, Jake held CMO and other marketing leadership roles with early and growth-stage software startups, including eRoom, Systinet, Venetica and rPath, which, through acquisitions, are now part of EMC, HP, IBM and SAS, respectively.

Leslie Neitzel, Vice President of People

Leslie Neitzel joins Pendo as VP of people. Leslie joins Pendo after seven years in HR leadership roles at ServiceMax, most recently as VP of human resources. ServiceMax, which was acquired by GE in 2016 for $915 million, provides cloud-based field management solutions for service companies. Prior to ServiceMax, Leslie held a variety of talent development and HR leadership roles at SuccessFactors, Model Metrics and Tribune Media.

Olson said: “Jake and Leslie are great additions to our executive team. Both bring tremendous experience, energy and leadership to their respective roles, which will undoubtedly contribute to our next phase of growth.”

Additionally, Pendo announced that it has signed a lease for 43,000 square feet of Class A office space in the Wells Fargo Building, a 30-story iconic landmark building located at 150 Fayetteville Street in downtown Raleigh. The space, which will accommodate 400 employees, will feature an open concept floor plan, modern/industrial finishes, and a rooftop patio for outdoor company events. Pendo now employs 150 people in Raleigh and other cities. Pendo recently announced its acquisition of Israel-based Insert.io, which added Pendo’s first international office, 35 employees and new product capabilities to address richer mobile use cases.
